The tender is for the disposal of scrap through the GeM portal. Bidders are advised to visit and examine the disposable items and obtain all necessary information for assessment and submission of the bid. The successful bidder must ensure that all e-waste is disposed of according to the latest government guidelines and provide an e-waste disposal certificate to POWERGRID. Bidders must submit a notarized copy of valid registration certificates issued by the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) and present it at the time of taking delivery of the materials. The entire disposable items shall be sold as a single lot, and no part payment will be considered. The items will remain at the risk of the buyer from the time of acceptance of the offer, and the seller will not undertake any liability for the safe custody or preservation after the sale has been confirmed. The seller reserves the right to remove any foreign materials found mixed in the lot at the time of delivery. The transportation of the disposable items from POWERGRID office is the responsibility of the successful bidder, and the cost for transportation shall be borne by the bidder. |
